MSI unveils Prestige 16 laptop with Alder Lake-P processor

MSI is expanding its business laptop collection with light and thin design and this company most recently It unveiled two 16-inch laptop models named Prestige 16 and Prestige 16 EVO. Both versions of these products will use Intel Alder Lake-P series processors and will come with a silver chassis that integrates a cooling fan system for quiet operation (up to 35 dB).

However, MSI has not yet provided information about the price and exact release time of these products. The newly introduced laptops from the Prestige series come with Mini-LED panels, which are also light and provide good image quality by receiving the DisplayHDR 1000 certificate. In addition, the maximum supported resolution is 1600×2560 and the aspect ratio of the screens is 16:10.

Microphone with artificial intelligence to reduce noise, CPU Intel i7-1280P and quality display are important features of these products.

165 Hz refresh rate and 100% support of DCI-P3 color range are other features of this series of products. However, these two models also have differences, and the EVO model comes with a FHD+ screen and does not have an HDR certificate, and this model includes 100% support for the sRGB color spectrum. Another main difference between these two models is their graphics processor, and it should be noted that in the EVO model, MSI has used the integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics processor.

The other model comes with a premium Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU and 4 GB of GDDR6 VRAM memory. Apart from the mentioned, these two models use the same Intel i7-1280P CPU and 32GB of RAM. Support for PCIe 4.0 X4 and M.2 SSD is also included in these products. Regarding the communication ports of the new MSI Prestige 16 laptops, it should be said that these products use 2 Thunderbolt 4 connectors with DP charging mode, HDMI video output, and two USB-A 3.2 generation two ports.

MicroSD card reader and audio jack are other communication features of these laptops. Other important features of these products include fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor, FHD webcam with infrared sensor and microphone equipped with artificial intelligence to reduce noise. Wi-Fi 6E connection is also applied in these products and the weight of the laptops is close to 1.9 kg.
