Museum guides should not tremble in critique of the lives of kings / Today is a world of narrative warfare

According to Aria Heritage Reporter, Engineer Seyed Ezatollah Zarghami today, Saturday, November 1, 1400, at the opening ceremony of the Museum of Historical Vehicles of Iran, which was launched by the Foundation for the Underprivileged on the Tehran-Karaj special road, noting that holding the Museum of Historic Vehicles is an interesting, wise and artistic step. “Apart from all the good deeds that the foundation has done, holding this exhibition is also a very good and cultural work,” he added.
The Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, referring to cars with historical license plates, said: “We will define a mechanism for people’s cars that apply for historical license plates so that their request will be granted.”
He continued: “I regret that when we want to think about solving people’s problems, in addition to preserving all values, cultural heritage, strengthening and preserving them, some people are accustomed to polarization and think that people’s interests are in conflict with cultural heritage. God willing, I will solve this issue. This is one of the places where you have to go under the table and change a series of thoughts and preserve the cultural heritage with all your might and at the same time preserve the position of the people. Some who are more sympathetic to the midwife than the mother may scream purple but it does not matter. “It is important to see how much these things benefit the people.”
Engineer Zarghami stated: “When we show the palace of the kings, part of these works is Iranian architecture and represents our civilization and should be shown well. But at the same time, the unpopular life of kings can be explicitly criticized. “Today is a war of narratives.”
The Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts added: “In the same museum of historical cars, these cars did not belong to the people at that time, but were in the possession of the royal family. “It was bought from the nation’s money and big concessions were taken from Iran in exchange for these cars.”
Engineer Zarghami continued: “Today, the Foundation for the Underprivileged has launched a museum that is valuable. These cars are important in terms of industry history. “The design of the hall and museum is also very well done and has a good entrance. Undoubtedly, due to the good measures taken in this exhibition, this museum will be of interest to foreign tourists who will travel to Tehran.”
At the end of his speech, he noted: “I ask Engineer Fattah to continue such work. “The strategy of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage is to use the capacity of the private, public and public sectors to preserve, restore and even manage museums and historic buildings.”
On the sidelines of the opening of the museum, the Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts and the head of the Foundation for the Oppressed, along with a number of directors of the two departments, visited different sections of the museum.
