My job is not to write an obituary notice; we will continue diplomacy with Tehran – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by European media, Robert Mali, the US special representative for Iran affairs, in response to a question about whether the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is dead or not, said that such a thing has not happened yet and claimed that Washington continues negotiations and diplomacy with Iran.
In response to the question whether “Berjam is dead or not”, Mali claimed: “My job is not to write an obituary notice, but my duty is to protect and develop the national interests of America.” For a while, we announced quite clearly that Iran and all of us had a golden opportunity to revive the JCPOA in September, and everyone agreed, and for a day or two we thought that Iran also agreed, but it was not the case.
He went on to repeat America’s claims and without referring to Washington’s requests in the nuclear agreement negotiations, he claimed: Therefore, they are responsible for killing the opportunity to immediately revive the JCPOA! We still believe in diplomacy, and given what has happened in the last few months, we still believe that the best way to ensure that Iran does not get a nuclear weapon is through a nuclear deal!
The financial claim about Iran’s attempt to obtain a nuclear weapon has been raised while Tehran has always declared the nature of its nuclear program to be “peaceful”. In this regard, Amir Saeed Irvani, Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, said at the periodic and regular meeting of the Security Council regarding the implementation of Resolution 2231 and the JCPOA: Today, as expected, the members of the Council once again expressed their support for the revival of the JCPOA. and demanded its full implementation as the only practical measure. It is obvious that the JCPOA can be returned and revived only by addressing the main roots of its current situation, that is, the withdrawal of the United States from the agreement on May 8, 2018.
Mali once again supported Iran’s unrest and continued the interventionist actions and statements of America and the West in Iran’s affairs, and claimed: I think we are looking at the protests (Iran) from the same perspective as it really is.
Admitting the cooperation and conspiracy of the western world against Iran under the leadership of the United States, he claimed: It was not only the United States that did this, but it was a multilateral effort. It was not only Western countries, but countries all over the world, north and south, east and west, have joined this effort.
Admitting Washington’s political atmosphere against Tehran and hostile actions such as excluding Iran from the Commission on the Status of Women, he claimed: We have taken multilateral actions, including in the field of the Commission on the Status of Women in the United Nations, and we are trying to stop the authorities and those who played a role in suppressing the protesters. Let’s hold them accountable!
This claim is made while the Americans have a shameful record in the field of human rights violations, especially the violations of women and children’s rights, and they are basically not in a position to have the authority to comment on human rights.
