Jalal Mahmudzadeh stated in an interview with the economic reporter of Fars News Agency: The formation of the Ministry of Commerce was proposed for two reasons; First, the pressure of price increase in the market should be reduced for a while, however, the government is under pressure regarding the increase in the price of basic goods and livestock inputs and other goods needed by the industry, dairy products after the reform of the preferential currency.

The member of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Commission of the Islamic Council claimed that one of the objectives of the plan to form the Ministry of Commerce is to buy time for the government. It was supposed that with the amendment of the preferential currency, the price of basic goods would not increase compared to Shahrivar 1400.

The representative of the people of Mahabad in the Islamic Council described the creation of the Ministry of Commerce as a wrong action and said: This issue is contrary to the above documents and the sixth development plan. On the other hand, our policy in the last few years has been to shrink the government, and the separation of the Ministry of Commerce from the Ministry of Security is in conflict. It is with this policy.

The member of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Commission of the Islamic Council considered the formation of the Ministry of Commerce to be the return of the problems before its merger with the Ministry of Silence and added: This action will cause duality in regulating the market. As in the past years, these two ministries are projecting problems both in increasing prices and in not being able to control the market, and are throwing the ball into a different field.

Mahmoudzadeh continued: If commerce is separated from the Ministry of Security, the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture will also suffer because we have given the task of regulating the market to Jihad Agriculture in the concentration law. According to the law, responsibility for export and import of agricultural products has been entrusted to the Ministry of Jihad and Agriculture.

He added: In case of formation of the Ministry of Commerce, we should stop the export of agricultural products and leave it to the Ministry of Commerce.

He mentioned the duality of decision-making in the issue of export and import of agricultural products as one of the consequences of this action and said: The establishment of the Ministry of Commerce is the starting point, which means that after 10 years have passed since the merger of this ministry into the Ministry of Industry, we will face the same problems again. to have

A member of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Commission of the Islamic Parliament said: It will take at least 3 years for the new ministry to find its way, and on the other hand, the concentration law should be canceled because the responsibility for exporting agricultural products will be removed from the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture and handed over to the Ministry of Commerce. Although it will lead to the formulation of another law and will interfere with the duties of agricultural jihad.

Mahmoudzadeh pointed out that the government was supposed to issue a bill for the establishment of the Ministry of Commerce, and said: The bill for the establishment of the Ministry of Commerce will have opponents in the parliament, and I think it will also face objections from the Guardian Council.
