Naftali Bennett: We are ready for any security scenario

According to the International Service of Fars News Agency, a large number of Zionist soldiers who faced resistance and protests from the Palestinians today (Friday) after entering Al-Aqsa Mosque illegally, clashed with them severely and wounded a large number of them.

“We have no interest in turning the Temple Mount (Holy Shrine) into a center of violence that harms Muslims and Jews,” said Omar Bar-Leo, the Israeli Minister of Internal Security, in response to the clashes.

“We will not allow the rioters to disrupt the situation and disturb public order,” said Ofer Gandelman, a spokesman for the Israeli prime minister.

The Zionist official warned Palestinians to maintain public order, saying Israeli police were dispersing “insurgents”.

“We are ready for any scenario and the Israeli security forces are ready to carry out any mission,” said Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

The Tel Aviv Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that Bennett was currently conducting security consultations on the Al-Aqsa Mosque clashes.

The Zionist regime police also claimed: “We have completed the evacuation of the worshipers who were besieged inside Al-Aqsa Mosque and arrested a hundred of them.”

The regime’s army radio also reported that the Israeli police inspector was assessing the situation of the security forces in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Earlier, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced that at least 150 Palestinians had been injured in clashes between Palestinian youths and Zionist militants’s attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque. (More details)
