Narratives of 5 terrorist bombings in the 60s / “Red years” will be on the air tonight


According to Fars news agency, Milad Mohammadi said about the documentary series “Red Years”: “Red Years” examines 5 large-scale terrorist incidents in the beginning of the 60s in 5 episodes of 45 minutes.

He added: These five bombings were carried out on public roads with high casualties of ordinary people and civilians, and according to the time sequence and documented parts of the bombing of Ishrat Abad Square in Tehran in March 2016, the bombing of Khayyam Street in Shahrivar of 2018, the bombing of Topkhaneh Square in Tehran. It includes the bombing of the Railway Square in September 1961 and the bombing of Naser Khosro Street in May 1964.

Milad Mohammadi said: In addition to analyzing the social and political conditions of that time and the grounds and motivations of these actions, the origin of the event and how it happened are discussed in detail in this collection. Interviews with eyewitnesses as well as officials at the time along with conversations with journalists who recorded the events are the focus of the “Red Years” narrative.

According to Mohammadi, in this documentary, the audience accompanies the narrator, who is a searching researcher, and discovers the details of the story.
