According to the Arya Heritage Report, quoted from the public relations of Golestan Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts General Directorate, Maryam Jalali, on the evening of Saturday, May 30, 1402, during the celebration of the world record of Turkmen needlework and Hyrkani forest and the celebration of the national registration of the 1000th work of Golestan province in the list of national works, which was attended by Golestan Governor Ali Mohammad Zanganeh. Mohammad Javad Savari, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the province, Suleiman Hashemi, Governor of Aqqola, other national and provincial officials, professors, media persons, cultural heritage activists, tourism activists, handicrafts activists and culture-loving people of Gorgan at Taqvi historical school in the historical city of Estrabad (Gorgan). was held, he said: national and global registrations are not just attention to capacity and are the first step for planning and progress, and in these plans, what the Supreme Leader emphasized in the second step of the revolution, i.e. local governance, socialization, and civilization must happen.
The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of the country noted: We have a continuous culture that arose from a huge cultural capital and we are obliged to take care and protect it. But this care and protection is not static and is accompanied by development and progress.
Emphasizing that when we reach development and progress, livelihood is realized in the service of identity and our solution is handicrafts, he said: Our cultural heritage today is our handicrafts of yesterday and definitely our handicrafts of today will be our cultural heritage of tomorrow.
Jalali clarified: Handicrafts are based on wisdom, and the needle that sits on the fabric and the pattern that is made on the pottery are completely environmentally friendly. The economy of identity is the foundation of this handicraft, and from this economy we can organize livelihoods tied to identity and help increase per capita income.
The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of the country continued, referring to the world registration of two works of Turkmen needlework and Hyrkani forests, and said: “If Turkmen needlework arouses the bow of the world today and Hyrkani forests shout out our environmental authority in the world, arising from the human-oriented view and the view of the house of Wadh.” The core of authentic Iranian culture is Islam, which respects its environment and manages family-oriented.
The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of the country also emphasized: If all cultural planning and development are focused on the three pillars of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts, we will definitely have a strong engine.
The observance ceremony of the world registration of Turkmen needlework and the Hyrkani forest and the celebration of the national registration of the 1,000th work of Golestan province in the list of national works with the performance of various programs, including the broadcast of a video message by the head of the National Museum of Iran, Jabrail Noukandeh, specialized lectures on the registration of national and world works of the province, and the performance of traditional music. Exhibitions of foods, bread and sweets of Golestan province national registration, unveiling of the world registration plaque of two Turkmen needlework works and Hyrkanian forests and recognition of cultural heritage activists were held in Gorgan.
