He stated that 140 thousand hectares of critical dust centers have been identified in Ilam province, and stated: The main source of dust in the province is in Dehlran and Mehran cities, which we hope to be able to use the mulching operation in Ilam province as a pilot and the necessary level of credit. To control the interior in the province.

Referring to the external source of the dust, Selajgah pointed out: Ilam Province has a 425-kilometer border with Iraq, which is always affected by dust centers from Iraq, and efforts are being made by consulting with the Iraqi authorities and The use of new technology, the use of vegetation and the construction of windbreaks for this problem should be pursued in a special way.

The head of the country’s environmental protection organization, emphasizing on biological safety, emphasized the need to use native species to deal with the dust phenomenon and said: the government is determined to curb the micro dust phenomenon.

He also met and talked with a group of environmentalists of Koleg protected area.
