Nazari: Fajr regional theater festival starts at the beginning of Azar

According to Fars news agency, Kazem Nazari, Director General of Performing Arts, who has traveled to Bijar to participate in the Kurdistan Provincial Theater Festival, gave an explanation to media reporters about the support of the Iranian Performing Arts Association to artists.

Kazem Nazari, director general of performing arts, said: “I am very happy to be in the city of Bijar and among the talented people and artists of Kurdistan. The 34th high-quality provincial theater festival is being held in Bijar city.

Nazari continued: “Fortunately, the performances are of very high quality and we are happy that there are capable young people in this province.”

He emphasized: “We are proud that there are talented young people in every corner of the country, and cultural authorities should pay more attention to young people.”
Director General of Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance added: “Asghar Hemet is one of the good theater and cinema actors and one of the judges of this festival, and they announced that there have been good performances so far and this is a source of satisfaction.”

He emphasized: “We hope to witness very good performances in this festival and benefit from the presence of the artists of this country in the regional festival.”
Commenting on the need to support artists, Nazari said: “We will try to support the artists in this field and the theater associations will be financially supported in order to produce better and more.”

The Director General of Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance considered Bijar as the pole of theater production in Kurdistan and said: “Fortunately, there are very good talents in Bijar and artists in this field should be supported.”

He mentioned the timing of the regional festival and said: “The regional festival will be held in five regions of the country from the beginning of December, and in the stage section, two works and one street work will enter the regional festival.”
