Negotiations between Iranian companies in Syria / Russians and Emirati are also – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news



According to the Mehr news agency, quoting Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed, Madin Diab, director of the Syrian Investment Organization, announced that Russia, the UAE and Iran will invest in the country in the near future.

He said Iranian companies have recently been in talks to invest in Syria, especially in the industrial, waste recycling and renewable energy sectors. The new investment law in Syria includes facilities and incentives for Iranian investors.

The Syrian official also said that Russian companies were also considering investing more in Syria.

He said the UAE has also proposed renewable energy projects in cooperation with Syrian businessmen, which is being considered.

Diab also announced that since the announcement of the new investment law last year, 23 foreign investment projects have been implemented at a cost of 1.2 billion Syrian pounds, which has created 1846 job opportunities.

The director general of the Syrian Investment Authority said that the main problem in Syria was the lack of agricultural projects, and that Syria has many investment opportunities in this regard.

On May 19, 2021, the Syrian government passed a new investment law that includes tax incentives and exemptions and facilitates the establishment of the company.
