Netflix ordered the first series of Robert De Niro

Charso Press: According to Variety, the short series “Zero Day” starring Robert De Niro in his first series experience, will soon start its production.

Leslie Linka Glatter will be the director and executive producer of this 6-episode series.

The official introduction of this series states: How can we discover the truth in a world full of crisis; And when everything seems to be falling apart due to forces beyond our control? In an era full of conspiracy theories and trouble, how much of these forces are the result of our own work?

Eric Newman and Noah Oppenheim co-wrote and executive produced the series with Pulitzer-winning journalist Michael S. Schmidt.

Robert De Niro, in addition to starring in the role of the president, is also its executive producer.

De Niro, one of the most famous actors in the history of cinema, has received the Academy Award for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor for “Raging Bull” and “The Godfather Part II”. He has been nominated for a total of 7 Academy Awards and has received several Emmy nominations, one of which was for Best Actor in HBO’s The Wizard of Lies, in which he played Bernie Madoff.
