The Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces has revealed new details of the assassination attempt on the Iraqi Prime Minister.
According to Sputnik, quoting Tasnim, Yahya Rassoul, spokesman for the Iraqi Armed Forces General Command, recounted new details of the failed assassination of Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi.
He announced the location of the drones that targeted Al-Kadhimi’s house. According to him, two UAVs were flying at low altitude.
Yahya Rassoul said al-Kazemi’s failed assassination included a second explosion by a drone that failed to shoot down the drone.
It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi media reported the widespread presence of Iraqi security forces and the flight of army planes over Baghdad.
