New Intel laptop processors – Core i5 13420H and Core i7 13620H

Recently, the Twitter page momomo_us claimed that Intel plans to release two new laptop processors from the 13th generation Raptor Lake, namely Core i5 13420H and Core i7 13620H.

Intel has previously confirmed that the Raptor Lake laptop processors will arrive by the end of this year, at which time we knew that the Core i9 13900HK and Core i7 13700H processors were among them and that Intel was working on them – 14-core processors that They will be for high-end gaming laptops.

But recently, as we said, the momomo_us Twitter page has announced that Intel will release two new processors from the 13xx20H series with lower thermal power for non-gaming laptops. These two laptop processors are called Core i5 13420H and Core i7 13620H. Unfortunately, there is still no detailed information about the exact technical specifications of these two processors, and Googling their names does not give specific results.

It is possible that Intel will release processors for Raptor Lake Mobile laptops before CES 2023. That time of year is usually when new laptops are introduced one by one with new processors and graphics cards. This year, we can see laptops equipped not only with Intel’s 13th generation processors, but also with Nvidia’s RTX 40 graphics cards, but also with Intel’s own Arc Alchemist graphics cards.

Intel has also hinted that this year it will release a series of new laptop-specific processors under the new HX series, which will offer desktop-class performance and, although it is not yet known, will be equipped with a 24-core Raptor Lake platform with 8 P cores and 16 E cores.
