New US sanctions against Iran

The US Treasury Department announced on Wednesday that it had imposed sanctions on an international oil smuggling and money laundering network led by the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRNA reported Wednesday.
The ministry claimed that the network had provided resources from the sale of millions of dollars of Iranian oil to Quds and Lebanese Hezbollah forces.
According to this claim, this network has acted as one of the key elements in the sale of Iran’s oil resources.
Many observers believe that the continuation of US sanctions against Iran in the context of ongoing negotiations to revive Borjam, as a hostile act, could damage this process.
