“No one is waiting for you” joined the online screening/ a narrative of the challenges of the marginalization of injured women


According to Fars news agency, the online screening of the documentary “No One is Waiting for You”, produced by the Soura Documentary Center, produced and directed by Mohsen Islamzadeh, has started on the Hashour site and continues for a month.

This social work was screened some time ago by the “Rovish” distribution office of Bahmansabez Institute in selected cinemas across the country and was able to attract the opinions of elites, sociologists, critics and social activists and women’s field.

“No one is waiting for you” which is a story about a detention center for women sleeping in cardboard boxes in Shush area of ​​Tehran, due to its discussed topic, it was shown in addiction treatment camps and prisons and was well received by the clients.

The social documentary “Nobody’s Waiting for You” in addition to dealing with the sufferings of the affected women, defines the challenges of marginalization and living street in relation to its main subject.

In the summary of the story of this work, it is stated: “Sapiedah Alizadeh has been in charge of the care center for women who sleep in cardboard boxes in Shush Square, Tehran, for several years. Most of the women who visit this center have suffered from social harm, such as addiction and prostitution, and their families have rejected them; Mona is one of these women who, after getting to know Sepideh Alizadeh and recovering from addiction, becomes her assistant at the women’s care center. This documentary won the special award for the best documentary film from the judges of Naji Hanar in the national section of the “Truth Cinema” festival, and it was also shown in its first international appearance in the feature documentary competition section of the 18th edition of the “Kazan Muslim Cinema” festival.
