Nokia 9 PureView does not receive Android 11 update

Although Nokia does not offer new versions of Android at high speed, it does not break its promise of releasing major updates for two years. However, this is not the case for the Nokia 9 PureView, as the company’s website in Poland has announced that it will not release an Android 11 update for it.
The Nokia 9 PureView is a flagship that has outdated technical specifications from the time of its introduction, however Nokia focused on the camera in this device and made it available to buyers with 5 cameras. Now the same camera apparently makes users unable to experience Android 11.
to the Nokia said, The camera software as well as its capabilities are not compatible with Android 11 and newer versions, and if an update is released for it, it will lose its original function. Overall, the Nokia 9 PureView is a camera-centric phone.
Of course, Nokia has made an offer to its owners because it will not be able to release Android 11 for this flagship. In Poland, users of this smartphone can get a device with Android 11 operating system with a 50% discount. It is expected that such a program will be considered for global users in the future.
