Nominees selected by critics 2024 / “Barbie” broke the record with 18 nominations

Charso Press: According to Variety, “Barbie” has been nominated in 18 sections of critics’ awards and registered its name as the film with the most nominations in the 29-year history of this association. Previously, “Everything everywhere at once” and “The Shape of Water” had this position with 14 nominations.
Nominations for best picture, director, actress for Margot Robbie, supporting actor for Ryan Gosling, supporting actress for America Ferrera and three nominations for song, cinematography and screenplay are among the nominations for “Barbie”.
Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” and Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Les Miserables” each received 13 nominations, including Best Picture, and placed second.
The program to announce the winners will be held on Sunday, January 14, with Chelsea Handler as the host.
