Norway: Russia is the biggest threat to Europe

According to Fars International News Agency, Norwegian intelligence officials announced on Monday that Russia is the main security threat to all of Europe and will remain so for a long time.

“Today, Russia is the biggest threat to Norwegians and the security of Europeans, and the confrontation with the West will continue for a long time,” Norwegian Defense Minister Jorn Ariland Gram said.

These statements by Ariland Gram come after the Norwegian government received the annual threat assessment report from the country’s three security agencies.

On February 24, 2022 (5th of March 1400), after recognizing the independence of Luhansk and Donetsk republics from Ukraine, Russia sent troops to this region and announced the beginning of “special military operations in Ukraine”.

Russia has announced its goal of this action to de-Nazify Ukraine, disarm this country, resolve its security concerns and respond to Luhansk and Donetsk’s request for help, and has said that it has no intention of seizing Ukrainian lands.

However, the Ukrainian government has not recognized the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk and has called Russia’s military presence an “aggression and attack on its territorial integrity”.

Following the beginning of Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, while condemning Moscow and intensifying economic pressures, Western countries have put all-round political, financial, and weapons support for Kiev on the agenda.

Despite the support of the Westerners, Russia has managed to take over at least 20% of the territory of Ukraine.

Russia has emphasized many times before that Western countries have unofficially entered the war by supplying weapons to Ukraine. “The line between direct and indirect interference is gradually disappearing,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said last week.

The end of the message.
