“Obama” surprised the audience of a festival

“Barack Obama” went to the “Martha’s Vineyard” African-American Film Festival with his wife to introduce a new documentary.
Charso Press: Former US President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama surprised the audience on the opening night of the Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival to introduce their new documentary.
This Netflix documentary titled “The Children”, which is owned by the company owned by Obama and his wife, “Higher Ground Productions”, was produced by “Margaret Bravan”. The documentary focuses on the residents of Africatown, a small community in Alabama who share a history as descendants of the Clotilda, the last known ship to bring captives from Africa to the United States. The existence of this ship was an open mystery for centuries, which has been confirmed by maritime archaeologists in recent years.
“Mil Obama” also explained about this documentary: This film reminds us of the importance of sharing personal information and the history of society with the younger generations, and what the “Children” documentary reminds us is that we have to tell our stories to our younger ones and we can no longer do this. Follow the tradition to silence our pain. Because what this film shows us is that our stories have the power to make us visible.
“Barack Obama” also said: “The importance of stories and who tells stories and which stories are authentic and which stories are fake is one of the strong points of this film festival.” It’s really about bringing up the stories that are often lost in the flow of time, because we believe that everyone’s stories matter.”
