“If the investor fails to attract the facilities and continues to work, the project will be handed over to the new investor with the aim of developing the tourism industry in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad,” Safaei said.

“The construction of cable cars is an important need for the prosperity of the tourism industry in order to create jobs for the people,” he added, referring to the tourism potential of Yasuj, the provincial capital.

Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, noting that 200 billion rials of credit had been approved for the construction of this project two years ago, emphasized: “The private sector has been paid.”

“This project needs another 100 billion rials to be completed, which will be allocated after the absorption and spending of the second phase of bank facilities, the required completion credits,” Safaei said.

He emphasized: “The cable car project of Yasuj tourist area with an area of ​​4,000 square meters of land in the parts of origin and destination is envisaged.”
