Offer to sell 1800 imported sediment vehicles
Hossein Mir Moeini, Deputy Director of Operation and Sales of the Proprietary Property Organization, regarding the assignment of vehicles in the warehouses of this organization, said: “The draft proposal has been prepared by the Proprietary Property Organization and submitted to the government.”
He added: “This issue has not been raised in the cabinet yet.” We have submitted our executive proposals to remove the sediment of these vehicles, but it has not yet been discussed in the cabinet and as a result, no specific decision has been made.
Regarding the number of sediment vehicles in the organization, the official in the Property Organization said: “The number of these vehicles varies because according to the law, any goods that are owned by the government must reach the Property Organization.” What is currently in the possession of the Proprietary Property Organization is about three thousand devices.
He continued: “It is possible that a new ruling has been finalized during this period or an order has been issued as a result of which several hundred more devices have been added to the previous number.”
Referring to more details about the classification of sediment vehicles in the organization, Mir Moeini said: “According to the statistics we have, there are about 50 American vehicles that are to be technically destroyed or sold on condition of the papers.”
He said: there are about 1800 vehicles under 2500 cc and 500 vehicles above 2500 cc in the property organization. Our suggestion was that cars under 2,500 cc be sold for domestic use and arrangements should be made for their numbering to have an effect on reducing car prices while also helping the treasury.
In response to a question about the financial income from the sale of cars, the Deputy Minister of Operations and Sales of the Property Organization said: The income of all goods sold by the Property Organization is for the government and you do not see any goods from the sale of which the owner earns anything.
He added: “According to Article 9 of the Law on Property Ownership Organization, 10% of the sale of movable property and 5% of the sale of immovable property is the commission of the Property Ownership Organization. As a result, all proceeds from the sale are transferred to the state treasury.
In response to a question about the non-assignment of some of these vehicles, despite the passage of legal time, Mir Moeini said: Assignment cases are divided into several categories; One of the issues is legal and judicial licenses. According to Article 2 of the Law on the Organization of Proprietary Property, we do not have the opportunity to enter a case if we do not have a court or legal order.
He said: “First, a court order must be issued and the goods must be owned by the government.” Other issues include legal issues that prevent us from taking action, such as a cabinet decision in 2017 that banned cars from entering the country. In the event that such a prohibition is imposed, the Proprietary Property Organization will not be allowed to enter and assign duties in these cases.
