Official NFT login to Instagram; Do users get rich?

Instagram has officially confirmed the arrival of NFT on the platform. Adam Moseri says this is aimed at introducing China Blockchain technology to a wider range of people.

A group of makers and collectors of non-exchangeable tokens, or NFTs, will soon be able to post their tokens on Instagram. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed in an internet post yesterday that the company is testing the tokens on the Instagram platform and will test them on Facebook with a similar function.

Instagram CEO Adam Moseri has confirmed in a video that a small group of American users can display their NFT in Instagram feeds, stories and direct messages. These tokens are just like tagging profiles and products with the name “”digital collectibles” are being used. When the tag for the token is clicked, details such as the name of the owner and creator of the NFT are displayed.

Musri says the feature will initially be active for a small group of users, and Instagram wants to continue research. Meta spokeswoman Kristin Pai says NFT tokens built into Atrium and Polygon blockchain networks will be supported by Instagram. Solana and Flow tokens will be added to this list soon.

The CEO of Instagram believes that Instagram’s support for irreplaceable tokens can introduce this technology to a wider range of people. Of course, Instagram is not the first platform to do this. Last January, Twitter added the use of NFT tokens as a hexagonal profile image to its platform. These tokens will also be hexagonal on Instagram.

Big companies and celebrities have a strong interest in NFT, which has reduced supply and increased demand in this market. According to the Wall Street Journal, NFT sales have been declining since last September.
