on the pretext of the beginning of the second season, “Snow falls silently”; The long story of jealousy and endless revenge

Fars news agency _ art group: These evenings, Se Sima channel has started broadcasting the second season of the series “Snow is Falling Silently”. The series whose first season ended after 68 episodes in March and now its second season has started. The second season was supposed to come from the past to the present, but the story still takes place in the 60s. Nothing special happened; Habib is still trying to ruin Ahmed’s character and win Simin’s heart, and Simin is still in his ignorance and seems to have gradually fallen in love with Habib.
“Snow Falls Silently” tells the endless jealousy and revenge of its characters. Jealousy and hatred that lead Shakiba’s family to destruction; Simin’s blind jealousy – the eldest daughter of the family – and Habib Kiani’s stubborn revenge drive all the events of the story.
Simin (Elika Abdul Razzaghi) has a weak and jealous character, who since childhood imagines that his father loves other children more than him. The seed of jealousy that was planted in Simin’s heart as a child grew up and after the death of his parents, it became a strong tree that is ready to destroy everything. Simin’s existence is overcome by so much jealousy that it seems as if he has a paternity with Nasreen and Ahmed. His behavior towards Soheila, Daniyal and Pegah is so bossy and overbearing that the audience can hardly believe that he loves them.
The filmmaker has made “Habib” a clever and extremely intelligent villain. Every night, the audience witnesses a new Chinese plot by Habib to destroy Shakiba’s family. The fact that the negative character of the story can be hated by the audience is a big bonus for a movie, but watching all of the ugliness and moral filth makes the human soul sick. This is while “Snow Falling Silently” claims that by choosing a traditional family, it wants to show the Iranian and Islamic lifestyle, but in practice, the audience sees nothing in the story except jealousy, hatred, and revenge, or they have to constantly get rid of stupidity and arbitrary actions. Simin gets greedy or disgusted by Habib and his intrigues.
In fact, Shakiba’s family has nothing to do with an authentic and balanced Iranian family, and their peace during the lifetime of Ata and Shkoh was an apparent peace. There is a deep jealousy and hatred in Simin’s existence.
“Snow Falls Silently” has chosen a sensitive moment in the history of our country to tell its bitter story. One of the biggest flaws of the series is the excessive bitterness that started from the very first episodes, even though for those who understood the sixties and lived in that space, the sixties despite the economic problems and poverty and war. , but there was a kind of happiness and solidarity between people, which is well depicted in a series like “White Status”.
In fact, dealing with the social and political history of our country in that era in any form and image, in the form of television series, is always auspicious and can introduce the next generations to different aspects of those exciting and epic years, but “snow falls silently” By falling into the trap of repeated stereotypes and the rhetorical behavior and speech of his characters, he has failed to create a concrete and effective atmosphere from that era. In this respect, the late Masoud Behbahaninia was more successful in the series “Alchemy”. The sequences related to the front and the fighters are extremely artificial and clichéd and not only failed to convey the spiritual state of that time, but also make the audience sad with a weak and lame show.
Now, with the start of the second season of this series, every sensible thinker will ask himself why the second season of a series that had many weaknesses in its first season should be made at the expense of Baitul-Mal. A series that in the first season has raised the voice of the audience’s protest due to its boring and drawn-out script, a series that, although it tells a story, the audience’s nerves and nerves are disturbed by seeing Habib’s sinister plans, Simin’s childish jealousies and fights every night. Is Simin and Nasreen annoyed? That too, in a situation where, due to economic and social developments, people need more and more the injection of peace and happy and fun entertainment.
