OnePlus 10 Pro will probably be one of the first products equipped with Snapdragon 8 generation one
In addition to Xiaomi and Motorola, which are set to introduce a phone with a new Qualcomm chip, the OnePlus 10 Pro is also expected to be available with the first-generation Snapdragon 8 chipset.
Qualcomm will soon introduce a new generation of flagship chips with a new naming scheme during the Tech Summit. The OnePlus 10 Pro looks set to be one of the first smartphones on the market to ship with the first-generation Snapdragon 8 chip (formerly known as the Snapdragon 898).
Earlier it was said that Xiaomi and Motorola are among the first companies to possibly offer mobile phones using the new Qualcomm chipset with a new naming scheme, and now Market-informed sources say OnePlus is also added to the list of manufacturers that take such an approach.
Unlike the previous models, the OnePlus 10 series phones will be available in the Chinese market at least in January, and with this scenario, they will be one of the first mobile phones to use Qualcomm’s future flagship chipset.
However, the global release of the series’ mobile phones, according to the company’s long tradition, will probably be postponed to March or April. Some key features of the OnePlus 10 Pro have been unofficially leaked.
According to unofficial reports from informed sources, the OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with Quad HD + resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a selfie camera aperture in the upper left corner.
The smartphone is expected to be available with 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 memory with support for microSD slots to increase capacity.
On the back panel of the device, we will probably see a triple camera with the Hasselblad brand, which includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and finally an 8-megapixel telephoto camera.
On the front panel of the device is a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The new phone is said to come with Google’s latest mobile operating system, Android 12, and the OxygenOS 12 user interface, along with a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 125-watt fast charge.
