Onion and tomato export duties were changed

According to the online economy report, quoted by Mehr, Ahmad Khaninoozari, the acting deputy of commercial development of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, announced in a letter addressed to the head of the trade development organization; Considering the relative increase in the production of onion and tomato products in the country, as well as in order to balance the amount of production, consumption and price in the market and help the producers, in order to sustain the production and export of the so-called onion export duties from 100% to 40% and The export duties of cultivated tomatoes should also be reduced from 55% to 30% of the basic export price.

Earlier in December of this year, in line with the implementation of the decisions of the market regulation headquarters, in order to balance the market and control the price of onions, export duties on onions were set at 100% and tomatoes at 55% of the export base.
