Opening of a permanent craft workshop in Bushehr
According to Aria Heritage report, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Bushehr Province, Ismail Sajjadimanesh announced this news today, Sunday 16 Bahman 1401: On the fifth day of the blessed decade of Fajr, a permanent handicraft workshop was opened in the village of Sheikhian Selanji with the presence of Dashti city officials.
The General Director of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Bushehr Province added: Part of the equipment of this workshop was provided by the Vice-Chancellor of Handicrafts of the province and it is currently working with 64 trainees in the field of rugs and carpet weaving.
He continued: A development plan has been planned for this workshop, with the addition of suitable space and necessary equipment, other indigenous disciplines will be activated in it.
In the end, Sajjadimanesh mentioned: The trainees participating in this workshop are from the villages of Chah Hossein Jamal, Baghpir, Selanji, Shahab, Mari and Gezdraz, that with the necessary training in handicrafts, home employment of the villagers will be strengthened.
