Opening of the 37th Fajr Music Festival with the performance of the Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra


According to Fars News Agency, the performance of Arman Mehraban’s soldier album will be the key to the opening of the 37th Fajr Music Festival on the 22nd of Bahman 1400 in Vahdat Hall.

The Symphony Orchestra of the Bureau of Poetry, Music and Anthem of the Radio and Television of Iran, led by Arash Amini, will perform parts of the Soldier album with a choir led by Razmik Ohanian and sung by Amir Hossein Samiei.

Sarbaz, Pader, Mihan, Peykar and Fatah are the pieces of this lasting album, which Arman Mehraban composed in the mourning of Sardar Shahid Qassem Soleimani and was produced and recorded by the Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra.

Safaei, the director of the Radio and Television Orchestras, says: “This orchestra, with the benefit of professional and experienced musicians along with its young and motivated members, never stopped working and even during the corona epidemic, it continued its rehearsals virtually and sometimes outdoors.” “He recorded valuable albums.”

The Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra has already opened the 35th Fajr Music Festival in 1998 with works by great Iranian composers, as well as the performance of Symphony 8 and the Ludwig van Beethoven Violin Concerto with Graf Morja, a famous Russian soloist.
