According to Tejarat News, Rostam Ghasemi, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, had announced to the Monetary and Credit Council on May 17 that he had proposed to increase the ceiling of housing facilities for Tehrani couples to 700 million Tomans.

He added: The Monetary and Credit Council has agreed with the proposal to increase the housing loan to 600 million Tomans in Tehran.

According to Shayan, it seems that the Monetary and Credit Council will reconsider the proposal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development in the second half of this year.

He emphasized: At present, housing purchase facilities are paid with the same current ceilings, which include 200 million Tomans. Mortgages Individual and 400 million Tomans for couples in Tehran, 160 million Tomans for individual applicants and 320 million Tomans for couples living in big cities, provincial centers and cities with more than 200,000 people and 80 and 160 million Tomans for individual applicants and couples living in other cities in Hamran. 80 million tomans will be mortgaged loans for the whole country.
