Oraman, the beautiful jewel of Kurdistan/unparalleled paradise of Iran

According to Moj Kurdistan News Agency; Horaman should be seen closely and the artistry of the creator of beauty, how he gave life to wood and stone in the heart of nature, should be touched.
Huraman is composed of 2 words “Hura” which means God and “Man” which means land, the full meaning of which is the land of Ahura or the land of God. The same word is Huraman.
Horaman can also mean the place of the sun. The village of Oramanat Takht is located in the southeast of the city of Marivan in Kurdistan province, which is connected to the city of Marivan by a 75 km long road.
This area includes more than 700 villages, towns and cities, including Sarovabad, a part of Sanandaj and Kamiyaran in Kurdistan province, and Shahrestan, Paveh, in Kermanshah province. Huramanat is the 26th world work from Iran that has been registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Before this, “Bam Cultural Landscape” and “Meimand Cultural Landscape” were included in this list.
Horaman is the name of one of Zoroastrian’s religious poems and it was called by this name because of the tendency of the people of this region to this religion in the past. The terraced villages are an example of Gilan’s Masuleh.
Contrary to its name, Oraman Takht is not flat at all, but is located in a very rugged mountainous area. The architecture of Oramanat is based on the construction using stone and in the form of dry china, meaning that mortar is not used in them, and the houses in the villages of the region are built in the form of stairs due to the steep slope of the rocky slopes. Blue windows, wooden ceilings and flowers and vases are among the beauties of Oraman Takht houses. Some houses in this country are more than 900 years old and have not suffered much damage. In most cases, houses are built on two floors and the spaces of the houses differ from each other based on their livelihood, and the houses of gardeners, farmers, and livestock farmers are more or less different from each other. In many cases, the ground floor is reserved for herds and storage. The main residential space is located on the upper floor and consists of different parts.
