The official said: Cement consumers are divided into three sections, which include large construction projects, cement industry and sales agents, and most cement consumers have received a stock exchange code.
He added: “Cement has now reached a price that both producers and consumers are satisfied with.”
The Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries, Minister of Silence, emphasized: According to the plan of the Ministry of Silence, the sale of cement outside the stock exchange is prohibited, and if any case is observed, we will deal with it severely.
Referring to the cooperation of the Support Organization with the Ministry of Silence, he said: “The process of production to consumption will be monitored in a complete and mechanized manner, and if there is a case, it will be announced immediately.” One of the main reasons for the increase in prices in recent months was the problem of electricity supply.
Keshavarz, stating that 80% of Raymond needs of cement factories have been met, continued: “Currently, production has reached a level that creates the ability to offer on the stock exchange and meets the needs of domestic suppliers.” The supply did not take place at all in July, and these measures were taken in August, which was accompanied by an inconsistency, which was resolved with a change of government.
Referring to the 23% decrease in production in July, he said: “The reason for this decrease in production was due to the fact that many cement factories are single-kiln. Inside these kilns, there are all refractory bricks that perform baking operations. The bricks cooled and the work stopped.
Regarding exports, the farmer said: “Goods that are offered on the stock exchange are allowed to be exported when they are offered, but there is no transaction or there is no demand for that product, but in the case of cement, because it is a bulky material and its value is very low.” And it is not possible for the manufacturer to store it, if this policy does not exist, serious damage will be done to this industry.
Abdolreza Sheikhan, secretary of the Cement Industry Association, said: “The country needs 5,200,000 tons of cement a month, and if it were not for the power outage, the market would not have been inflamed.”
Referring to the lack of electricity and gas in cement production, he said: “Cement went to the commodity exchange coincided with a power outage and also at the beginning all factories were not allowed to enter the commodity exchange, but at the same time the entry of cement into the commodity exchange was a good thing.” And prices became transparent.
Ismail Kazemi, president of the union of material sellers, while pointing to the withdrawal of cement from the support basket, said: “Until the second half of 1999, there was no problem in the cement industry and its supply was based on mold demand.”
Emphasizing that the price of cement should not be reduced to some extent, he said: “Cooperatives should be given priority so that supply in the city does not face any problems.”
Jahromi, Deputy Director of Operations and Supervision of the Iran Commodity Exchange, also stated in connection with the supply of cement: Cement is being offered over one million and 300 thousand Tomans every week, and so far 64 companies have offered.
