According to Moj news agency, the ceremony of commemorating the World Day of Historical Buildings and Sites today, Tuesday, April 29, 1402, was attended by Seyyed Ezzatullah Zarghami, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Ali Darabi, Deputy Minister and Deputy Handicrafts, a group of ministry managers and restoration veterans at the site. Zarghami said: You elders who are here are worthy representatives of a great and valuable society, many of whom are not present here today. In fact, honoring you today is a tribute to all restorers and activists in the field of cultural heritage.
The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts added: The work of restoration is a great work and is not normal. Restoration is God’s work.
He added: “Anything that is practical, our ancestors used to do it beautifully.” Today, at some times, we have said goodbye to beauty in some works and works. In fact, beauty is now our missing link. While God has used beauty in creation. Restoration is of the same kind.
Zarghami added: In the field of restoration, one of the issues that should be paid more attention to is the importance of theory. Restoration has its own customs and rituals and has a special ritual in its heart. Our intangible heritage is in the heart of restoration, and for example, some restorers used to perform ablution for their work. This is why I kissed the hand of the restorer of Zanjan’s Soltanieh dome.
Zarghami continued: In the law describing the duties of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, which has been reviewed by the government and will be presented to the parliament soon, the issue of cultural heritage has been given serious attention.

In 1402, this day is dedicated to the issues of cultural heritage developments. Extensive programs such as holding specialized meetings have been considered. Today is a great opportunity to tell the values of cultural heritage protection, to appreciate and introduce the cultural and historical assets of our country.
