According to the economic reporter of Fars news agency, in line with the executive regulations of Article 54 of the Direct Taxes Law regarding taxes on empty residential units, text messages have been sent to some of the owners of these units stating that the residential units are empty and the tax due on those units in recent days. In this context, the Office of Public Relations and Tax Culture of the Tax Affairs Organization of the country announced that according to the information received from the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, the tax on empty residential units for the year 1400 was calculated in the implementation of the provisions of Article 54 of the Direct Taxes Law and was calculated through SMS and uploaded to the service portal. Electronic tax has been notified to the owners of the mentioned units.

The owners of the mentioned units have until the end of August 1401 at the latest by referring to the electronic service portal of the Tax Affairs Organization at the address my.tax.gov.ir Proceed to pay the due tax, otherwise action will be taken according to the provisions regarding the demand and calculation of the crimes prescribed in the law.
