Paddington Bear Goes to Peru / Introducing the director and the name of the third film
The director and title of the third film of “Paddington Bear” was announced.
Charso Press: The third part of the Paddington Bear story is titled “Paddington in Peru” and is directed by Dougal Wilson.
Wilson, who has won awards for composing music videos and commercial films, is making his feature film debut, taking on the role of Paul King, who directed the previous two episodes. King is currently making “Wanka” as a prequel to “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” starring Timothy Shalameh for Warner Bros.
Filming for “Paddington in Peru” will begin in 2023 in London and Peru. Peru is the birthplace of Paddington, who has previously traveled to London and embarked on his adventures there.
King was delighted that Wilson had taken over, saying that after 10 years working on the film, he felt strangely protective of the little bear.
Wilson also said that he is a fan of the first two episodes and is very happy (if he is not a little scared) that he continues the story of “Paddington”.
He described the making of the film as a great responsibility and said that he would do his best to make a film that would honor the love of the people for this very special bear.
King, who co-wrote the story with co-producers of Paddington’s previous films, will co-produce the film. The screenplay was also written by Mark Burton, John Foster and James Lamont.
Nothing has been revealed about the actors and the plot of the third film, but Ben Visha has already been the voice actor of Paddington Bear.
“Paddington” films have sold more than $ 500 million worldwide, with the first part of “Raton Tomitoz” scoring 97% and the second part 99%.
Paddington recently sat at a table with the British Queen on her 70th birthday.
While Wilson has never directed a Hollywood movie, he has been active in business and music video. He has worked with famous brands such as Apple and IKEA and made music videos for artists such as Coldplay. Wilson has been nominated for an American Directors Guild (DGA) Award and a Grammy, and his Paralympic commercial has won an award from Ken Lyons.
