Palestine’s new ambassador to Iran sworn in – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news



According to the Mehr news agency, quoting Palestine Today, “Salam Al-Zawawi” officially took the oath of office as the new Palestinian ambassador to Iran in front of Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority.

It should be noted that Salam Zawawi is the daughter of Salah Zawawi, the former Palestinian ambassador to Tehran.

Salam Zawawi is the third Palestinian ambassador to Iran since the Islamic Revolution in 1988. Before him, Hani al-Hassan and his father, Salah Zawawi, were the Palestinian ambassador to Iran. Salah Zawawi has held this position since 1996.

The Palestinian Ambassador to Iran, Salah Zawawi, met with our Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, at the end of his mission in the Islamic Republic of Iran a few days ago. This prominent and old Palestinian diplomat was in charge of this position for about 4 decades as the ambassador of the Palestinian government in Tehran.
