According to Mehr News Agency, citing Sputnik News Agency, the Russian Navy parade was held in the Caspian Sea with the presence of Iranian ships.
According to this media, the said parade was held with the presence of about 40 ships, boats and support floats.
According to Sputnik, this grand ceremony was held on the occasion of the Day of the Russian Navy in Dagestan at the base of the Caspian Fleet.
This is the first time that the ships of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the Caspian Sea Parade.
In total, about 500 military personnel and about 40 ships, boats and support vessels and more than 20 units of military equipment participated in this ceremony.
According to this news agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin rode a boat around the parade line of warships on the way to Kronstadt and congratulated the crew on Navy Day.
In this regard, Vladimir Putin said: I congratulate you on Navy Day.
Navy Day in Russia is celebrated every year on the last Sunday of July.
This year, the Russian Navy is celebrating its 326th anniversary. At the current ceremony, the Belgorod nuclear submarine entered the fleet, which will be the first test carrier of Poseidon’s underwater nuclear drones.
It should be mentioned that the ships of the naval forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Iran entered Caspian Sea in the past days to participate in the Russian Navy Day parade.
On the other hand, the President of Russia announced a few hours ago at the Navy Day ceremony that the Russian Navy will be equipped with hypersonic cruise missiles within the next few months, and their deployment area will depend on Russia’s interests.
In this regard, Putin added: Admiral Grushkov’s frigate will be the first frigate that will go on a military mission with these formidable and powerful weapons on its deck. The main point is the capability of the Russian Navy, which is able to respond with the speed of light to all those who decide to violate our sovereignty and freedom.
