According to Fars news agency’s art reporter, Parvaneh Masoumi, a veteran actress of our country’s cinema and television, passed away due to illness at the age of 79 on Monday, December 6, after being hospitalized for a few days, and her body will be buried in her family cemetery, Amzadeh Abu Talib.

In a part of this video, referring to his entry into the field of acting, he says: I did not want to become an actor, because the cinema of that time was such that my family did not allow it. I grew up in a religious family and the first film I acted in caused controversy. My father said that it has nothing to do with us.

He also said about the promise he made to his father when he entered the cinema field: The promise I made to my father was that I told you to be sure that I would never do anything to question your dignity.. I will protect your reputation and know for sure that I will never hurt you and I think I kept my promise.

Parvaneh Masoumi was born in 1323 in one of the old neighborhoods of Tehran called Tehran University neighborhood and completed her studies in the field of foreign languages.

He started acting in the pre-revolution era around 1350 and during this period he played roles in films such as Beita, Regbar, Shahr Qaseh, Gharibeh and Meh and Kalagh and after that he did not play any role for several years and then He returned to the world of acting after the revolution. Parvaneh Masoumi’s first serious experience after the revolution was in 1963 and she played in the movie “Chrysanthemum Flowers” by Rasoul Sadr Aamili.

The deceased Masoumi won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress for her role in the movie “Chrysanthemum Flowers” from the 3rd Fajr Film Festival in 1363 and for her role in “Dowry for Rabab” from the 6th Fajr Film Festival in 1366.
