Pasargad Bank gave 68% of Qarz Al-Hasneh facilities to its employees

According to Iran EconomistAccording to the instructions of the Central Bank, all the deposits of Qarz Al-Hosna Banks must be spent on granting Qarz Al-Hosna facilities.
Examining the financial statements of Pasargad Bank shows that this bank has paid 646 billion Tomans to its managers and employees out of the total 941 billion Tomans balance of payment facility in the form of Qarz Al-Hosneh contract.
The audited financial statements of Pasargad Bank for the first 6 months of 1401 clearly confirm this issue.
In other words, Pasargad Bank spent 68.5% of Qarz Al-Hasna’s expenses on paying its employees.
Meanwhile, according to Paragraph A of Note 16 of the Budget Law of 1401, banks were required to spend 100% of savings loan deposits and 50% of current loan deposits for marriage, childbearing, deposit or purchase or construction of housing and providing dowry of Iranian goods with the introduction of the headquarters. execute the order of the Imam (RA).
According to this paragraph of the budget law, non-implementation or delay in the payment of facilities is considered a violation and can be pursued in the competent authorities.

In addition, Pasargad Bank had 892 billion Tomans of Qarz Al-Hosna savings deposits and 16,840 billion Tomans of current Qarz Al-Hosna deposits, and according to the budget law, 8,420 billion Tomans of this amount must be spent on Qarz Al-Hosna facilities within the framework of the budget law and instructions. The central bank notified, but the balance of this bank’s loan payment facility at the end of September was only 941 billion tomans, which is equivalent to 10.1% of the total loan resources of this bank.
Therefore, Pasargad Bank has committed two violations in this regard. The first violation was paying 68% of the total payment facilities of Qarz Al-Hosna to its employees, and the second violation was not paying Qarz Al-Hosna in the ratio determined in the budget law and the instructions issued by the Central Bank.
