Pasargad Bank walked 182 steps with one step



Shahrabi, the public relations manager of Pasargad Bank, said in this regard: In the latest ranking of the top 1000 banks of 2022, which is announced annually by the prestigious and international Banker magazine, the bank managed to climb 182 places compared to last year, and thus from the rank of 502 (year 2021) and was placed in the 320th position of the world’s top banks.

In this ranking, Pasargad Bank ranked first in the Middle East in terms of return on capital (ROC) with 61.89% and return on assets (ROA) with 4.35%.

The bank’s 182-step climb in the ranking of 2022 also placed Pasargad Bank in the position of the second bank in terms of the highest growth index.

It should be mentioned that in the annual ranking of the top 1000 banks in the world, Banker magazine evaluates and examines in detail the key financial indicators in the balance sheet and profit statement section, and requests to provide basic financial ratios and other indicators related to the number of customers in the retail and corporate banking sector. Payment channels and the number of bank employees provide an accurate summary of the state of banks participating in this ranking. It is necessary to explain that the verification of the information provided by the banks is done through the separate review of the annual report of the banks by Banker magazine.

During the past years, Pasargad Bank has achieved many valuable international successes, including winning seven Bank of the Year titles of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2021. And also the position of “Islamic Bank of the Year” of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2021 and 2022 was chosen by Banker magazine.
