Patak Hemti to Jahrmi: Why did you stop publishing the list of foreign exchange recipients?

According to the online economy report; Abdul Naser Hemti, the former head of the Central Bank, wrote on the X channel (former Twitter): With a mountain of promises left on the ground by the 13th government, the only important achievement has been the announcement of the names of bank borrowers and borrowers!

Transparency is very good, but with all these claims of transparency, why has it been more than two years since the publication of the list of receivers of government and semi-currency has been stopped and not updated?

Patek Hemti to Tek Jahormi: Why did you stop publishing the list of foreign exchange recipients? / Could the publication of this list prevent the corruption of “Debash”?

What was Hemti’s reaction?

According to the report of Echo Iran, last night – 29 Azar – the government spokesperson was present on the radio. In a part of his interview, Ali Bahadri Jahormi said: Regarding the issue of publishing the list of bank super debtors, you remember that during the election debates, one of the candidates could not announce a small list of bank super debtors. Today, the list of major debtors is published in the central bank system and is continuously updated.

He continued: In order to create transparency, the names of big bank borrowers are also published in this government. 28 banks publish the names of large borrowers in their system on a monthly basis. This action causes that a large loan is not granted without the necessary collaterals and the borrower having the necessary qualifications.

When did the publication of the list of foreign exchange recipients stop?

According to the announcement of the Central Bank, the latest published list of the recipients of government and semi-currency is related to the period of 21 April 2017 to 27 May 1400.

As Hemti stated, this list was announced two years ago, but it is not announced now. Even in November of last year, Fars news agency requested to update the list of recipients of Nimai currency on the Central Bank website.

Criticizing the fact that after eight months since the beginning of 1401, unfortunately, the statistics of recipients of Nimai currency have not been updated on the Central Bank website, this news agency announced that the new Central Bank team is expected to update the mentioned information in order to clarify the economic environment as in the past. do as soon as possible. What has not been done for nearly a year and a half!
Could the publication of the list of currency collectors prevent the corruption of Debash tea?

If this month of this year – Azar 1402 – the news of the astronomical corruption of Chai Debash was published in the media, there is a letter from the private sector managers to the first vice president in February 1401, in which the news about the allocation of foreign currency to a handful of companies was mentioned.

As the managers of the private sector mentioned in their letter, they noticed such a foreign exchange in the name of tea during the pursuit of foreign exchange for importing tea, and as a result, they wrote a letter to Dezfuli’s informant. Interestingly, the first government order to investigate this situation was made following this letter.

Therefore, we can conclude that if the list of allocated currencies was published in a regular and unrestricted manner, firstly, the way of such strange currency allocation would be closed, and secondly, if this happened, it would be made public faster and it would be prevented.
