The service sector is still at the top of borrowers

The separation of the facilities received by the business owners from the banks into the economic sectors receiving these loans, shows that despite the decrease in the share of the service sector from the bank facilities compared to the previous months, this sector still accounts for the most loans with 39.7%. After the service sector, there is the industry and mining sector, which took 38.5% of the loans, and the commercial sector with 10.8%, agriculture with 69%, and housing and construction with 5%.

Where did the payment facilities go?

According to the report of the central bank, among all the loans that have been paid to businesses by the banking network, 76.5% of them have been paid to provide working capital for these businesses, 17.2% to create new businesses and 4.4% to develop them. Examining the purpose of loans paid to households also shows that the facility of purchasing personal goods has the largest share of payment facilities with 35.4%. In addition, the share of necessary loans and marriage loans was recorded as 19.9% ​​and 18.4%, respectively. Housing repair facilities, buying non-renovated housing and having children are also in the next categories.

According to the data of the central bank, of the total facilities paid during the first four months of this year, more than 312 thousand billion tomans, equivalent to 23% of the total loans, were paid in the form of micro-facilities of less than 300 million tomans.
