A while ago, according to its monthly process, at the end of October, the central bank published the statistics and figures of bank loan payments by the country’s banks, separated by economic sectors and the purpose of receiving bank facilities, through its official website.

The data of the central bank report indicate that the country’s banks have paid about 412 thousand billion tomans in facilities in Mehr 1402, so that the total amount of loans paid by the end of this month will reach 2848 thousand billion tomans, which is 548 thousand billion tomans more than The course is the same as last year. In other words, the payment of facilities by banks from the beginning of this year to the end of October was 23.9% more than the seven months of 1401.

Increasing the share of households from bank loans

The statistics published by the Central Bank show that the share of real and legal business owners is equal to 83.2% of the total loans paid until the end of October, that is, about 2,370,000 billion tomans, and 477,000 billion tomans is equivalent to 16.8% of the facilities. It has been assigned to final consumers or households.

Comparing these figures with the September statistics of the Central Bank shows that, unlike last month, this time the share of businesses from bank loans has decreased by 0.5 percentage points and households have received a larger share of loans.

Where were the bank loans used?

According to published statistics, 76.9% of the facilities that banks have paid to business owners have been used to provide working capital for companies. In addition, 16.7% of this facility was used to create new businesses and 4.7% was used to develop businesses.

Examining the share of economic sectors in bank loans shows that despite the increase in the share of the service sector in the facilities paid to businesses in September, this figure has decreased to 42.3% in October.

The share of the industry and mining sector in the facilities increased at the end of October and this sector accounted for 36% of the facilities. Also, the commercial, agricultural, and housing and construction sectors are ranked next in this list by absorbing 9.9 percent, 6.3 percent, and 5.5 percent of the facilities paid to businesses, respectively.

Reducing the share of the service sector from the facility

A look at the purpose of the loans paid to households also indicates that the facility for purchasing personal goods has taken over the largest share of payment facilities with 39.6%. In addition, the share of essential loans and marriage loans were recorded as 19.9% ​​and 17.6%, respectively. Also, housing repair facilities, having children and buying newly built housing are also in the next categories.

Payment of 630 small loans until the end of October

In the final part of its report, the central bank stated that out of the total facilities paid until the end of October, about 630 thousand billion tomans equivalent to 22.1% of the loans were paid in the form of micro-facilities of less than 300 billion tomans. In addition, banks have paid more than 54 thousand billion tomans of bank loans to their customers in the form of credit cards, and if we add this amount to the statistics, the share of the household will increase to 18.3% of the total payment facility.
