Payment of more than 60 thousand billion tomans for National Movement facilities by Maskan Bank
According to Iran Economist, Seyed Mohsen Fazelian, member of the board of directors and vice president of credit affairs of Maskan Bank, in an interview with the reporter of the Bank Maskan-Hibna news site, said that so far, Maskan Bank has signed contracts for 231,522 residential units of the National Housing Movement Plan. : The amount of facilities contracted by Maskan Bank in this project was 78,851 billion tomans, of which 37,300 billion tomans came from the bank’s sources, considering the phased payment of the facility (from foundation to joinery, etc.). And 23 thousand and 466 billion tomans of it have been paid by the applicant, a total amount of more than 60 thousand and 700 billion tomans.
Referring to the selection of the topic of “inflation control and production growth” as the current year’s slogan, he said: One of the things that the supreme leader of the revolution mentioned in the area of production growth and realization of the year’s slogan is the issue of housing, which is actually one of the important pillars of the economy. Housing and construction industry, with the growth of its production and balance in the consumer market, we can witness the prosperity of industry and production business in the country, as well as controlling an important part of inflation.
Fazelian stated: Statistics show that the housing sector has a great impact on the rise of inflation and household expenses, and even more than 50% of this impact exists in big cities. Therefore, in order to realize the slogan of the year, especially curbing inflation, which is a serious demand of the people, special investment can be made in the housing construction sector.
The member of the Board of Directors of Maskan Bank added: Last year, Maskan Bank has paid more than 131 thousand billion tomans of facilities, 90% of which is related to the housing sector. Based on this, the bank has valuable experience in the field of housing construction financing, which is not limited to the implementation of the national housing movement plan, and has implemented various methods of financing this sector, including the creation of a land and housing fund, with very positive results.
Referring to the fact that the country’s economic policies should be on the path to realizing the slogan of the year, he said: A recession has occurred in the housing market, which is due to the expectation of inflation, which has caused a significant decrease in transactions in this area. Certainly, considering that housing is one of the basic goods in which inflation has a significant impact on other goods, the growth of production in this sector can be effective in reducing the overall growth of inflation.
