Pentagon: Iran’s goal is to expel America from Iraq and Syria

According to the report of Fars International News Agency, Mark Milley, the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Army, said that the US Army will face difficulties in the event of a simultaneous conflict with Russia and China or with a major power.
Continuing his speech, he said: “Our intelligence assessment is that Iran’s goal is to expel America from Iraq and Syria in order to become the dominant power in the region.”
Mark Milley claimed in a speech the other day: “Iran has taken steps to develop its capabilities to produce nuclear weapons and threatens to destabilize the region.”
The head of the joint staff of the US military added: “If Iran develops nuclear weapons, there are several options for the US command.”
The Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly stated that it pursues its nuclear program for peaceful purposes and has no intention of producing nuclear weapons. The International Atomic Energy Agency has also repeatedly confirmed the absence of deviations in Iran’s nuclear program.
This is despite the fact that America is the only nuclear country in the world that has used nuclear weapons against humanity, and during World War II, it killed tens of thousands of people with the nuclear bombing of two Japanese cities.
On the other hand, in 2015, Iran reached an agreement known as the JCPOA (Comprehensive Joint Action Plan) with the 5+1 group (America, France, England, Russia and China + Germany) regarding its nuclear program, according to which Tehran agreed Kurd, by limiting its nuclear program, the oppressive sanctions against this country will be lifted.
Despite Iran’s complete adherence to its commitments in the JCPOA, the United States prevented Iran from fully benefiting from the JCPOA’s economic benefits from the very beginning. On the other hand, with former US President Donald Trump taking office, he unilaterally withdrew the US from the JCPOA and imposed severe sanctions against Iran.
Trump was trying to impose a new agreement on Iran by exerting maximum pressure, but despite the intense pressure, the US government at the time could not achieve its demand for Iran.
When Joe Biden’s government took office, he claimed that he intends to return the United States to the JCPOA once again, but he refused to cancel Trump’s sanctions against Iran, and he also refused to provide Iran with a guarantee that the United States would not withdraw from the JCPOA. .
The last round of negotiations to lift the sanctions was held in Vienna last August, but it has been interrupted since then. Analysts say that some factors such as pressure from the Zionist regime, disagreements with Congress and internal problems in the United States have been the reason for the reluctance of the Biden administration to return to the JCPOA in the past months. .
Western countries have been trying to break Iran’s resistance to insisting on the country’s interests by launching a media-propaganda war during the past months.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has made the verification of the lifting of sanctions, obtaining guarantees regarding the durability of the JCPOA and the removal of safeguards claims of the Atomic Agency as its main demands in the negotiations to lift the sanctions and has emphasized that only returning to the bilateral agreement, which in exchange for some restrictions, will bring tangible economic benefits to the Iranian nation. He considers it logical to be accompanied and accepts it.
The end of the message.
