Sardar Ahmed Ali Godarzi, while attending the “Radio Arbaeen” studio and interviewing this radio network, referring to some of the measures taken at the border terminals for Arbaeen Hosseini days, said: Considering that this year, the Arbaeen Hosseini procession will be held in the summer season. Godarzi stated that based on the experiences of the past years, the number of pilgrims visiting the Mehran border will increase as Arbaeen Hosseini approaches, and clarified: We ask people to visit other border terminals. Currently, apart from the Mehran border, pilgrims can travel to Iraq from Khosravi, Chazaba, Shalamcheh, Tamrchin and Bashmaq border terminals.

Faraja border guard commander also pointed to the gates specified at the border terminals for Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims to pass, and pointed out: These gates were created to create order and security controls, and currently we have considered 64 gates, which in case of necessity It will increase to 91 gates and we are trying to consider more facilities in this area for the coming years.

In response to a question about the Khosravi border, Godarzi also said: pilgrims pass through this border terminal from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Faraja border guard commander emphasized: We are trying to increase the time of passing through this border terminal by consulting with the Iraqi authorities.

He added: In Khosravi border terminal, advanced and good monitoring has been established for border control and will be put into operation soon.
