Performance of “Chicken Sea” based on Chekhov’s play

Charso Press: The show “Chicken Sea” directed by Alireza Hamidin, is going through its last days of rehearsals to be staged on August 20th in the administrative hall of the artists’ house.

Hamidin wrote this play based on “The Seagull” by Anton Chekhov.

In the synopsis of this play, it is stated: Terpelev is a young man of about 20 years old who dreams of becoming a director. He is the son of Irina Arkadina, one of the most prominent actresses in the country, who is going through the decline of her acting career. Arkadina is in a not so strong relationship with a famous writer named Boris Trigorin, who, according to Terpelev, Trigorin stayed in this relationship only for material reasons! Nina’s favorite Terplef has become a relatively attractive girl next door to her uncle’s garden, and of course, Nina also shows affection for her. To prove his ability to Arkadina and Trigorin, Terpelf plans to perform a small and modern play in the garden with only one actor and the presence of the young and inexperienced Nina.

Mohammad Sharifi, Cynthia Sarkis Vartanian, Armita Faruzandeh, Milad Eskandari, Zahra Heydari and Mohammad Reza Mohammad Beigi play roles in the play “Chicken Sea”.

The show “Daryai Morgh” written and directed by Alireza Hamidin, will start its performances on the 20th of August at the artists’ house.
