“Piano” animation goes to Japan

Charso Press: The animation “Piano” from the productions of the Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental and Animation Cinema entered the international competition section of the second Komadori Animation Festival (meaning stop motion in Japanese) held in Tokyo, Japan.
The animation “Piano” is about war and its impact on human life.
“Komadori” festival is dedicated to showing short animation films made with stop motion techniques. This year, among the submitted works, 30 films will be screened in the competition section during the 4 days of the festival.
The purpose of the festival is to develop and promote animation and visual arts in Japan and around the world and to cultivate talents by holding a competition for stop-motion animation works from around the world, including Japan. This festival will be held from 10 to 13 December this year.
The international distribution of “Piano” is under the responsibility of the International Unit of the Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental and Animated Cinema.
