Plans for Clean Earth Week were announced
According to Moj news agency, Mohsen Naqilo stated that the purpose of holding the Clean Earth Week (from May 2 to 8) is to provide space for earth-friendly development activities that guarantee the health of the planet and its environment. He considered raising awareness, creating culture, attracting public participation and creating a common discourse as necessary to preserve the planet and its ecosystem and added: Clean Earth Week programs are planned in order to increase the responsibility of individual citizens, officials and planners in order to improve the health of the planet. .
Regarding the planned programs for this week, Naghilo clarified: During the Clean Earth week, the general managers and deputy environmental protection officers of the provinces will give speeches in the schools of their provinces, and the “Clean Earth Bell” will be played in the morning ceremony.
According to the General Director of Public Relations and Media Affairs of the Environmental Protection Organization, this week, in addition to the opening of projects related to the Clean Earth Week, top devices and top active fertilizers in this field will be honored.
Naghilo added: Production and distribution of content related to the importance of separating waste from its source and preventing citizens from leaving waste in nature are other programs planned for this week.
He pointed out: due to Eid al-Fitr coinciding with the Clean Earth Week and the increase in the trips of our compatriots after the holy month of Ramadan, the national action of the Green Route – Clean Iran, which was started on the occasion of Nowruz and the New Year, will be extended until the end of September.
The General Director of Public Relations and Media Affairs of the Environmental Protection Organization further said: This week, environmental houses will try to explain the actions of the government and popularize the environment.
Clean Earth Week is celebrated every year in our country at the same time as other countries of the world from May 2 to 8. This week is a great opportunity to promote the culture of protection and maintenance of the ecosystem and the habitat where human life will grow and develop, and paying attention to it has an undeniable role in institutionalizing the belief and will of man to have and maintain a healthy environment.
