“Poirot” stuntman doesn’t want to talk/”Zebul Khan” is tired!

Akbar Manani, one of the leading dubbing managers and announcers of our country, does not want to work or talk these days. He cites his physical condition as the reason for his withdrawal, and then the poor quality of dubbing works.

Charso Press: This veteran of the dubbing field says that he has spoken for more than 70,000 hours in dubbing. remember it well Unfortunately, dubbing works are no longer valuable and do not create interest in me.

Akbar Manani said that he has not worked much in dubbing for a long time and talked about his problems these days and his distance from dubbing.

This veteran dubbing manager first talks about his situation these days: These days, I do more or less dubbing work, maybe once or twice a month, rarely, if it’s a small job or a documentary. I’m a little tired. It’s the youth season, our turn is over. We can’t afford it anymore, and on the other hand, things have become so worthless that I don’t have the desire to do dubbing. There are speakers among whom we are lost.

Those who were in sight left

In his speech, in response to the statement that “this year we lost many veteran stunt doubles and all of them were your friends”, he notes: People come and go. We all have to go, no one lasts. We will leave one day and nothing can be done. It doesn’t matter if it’s a colleague, a relative or a friend, when we have lived with them for a lifetime, the moment they leave our hands, it makes us sad and it’s not pleasant for us; Especially for people like me who never looked for competition and I am not. It is very painful for my friends to leave. Recently, I was really touched when Mr. Shahroz Molek Arai passed away. I had a close relationship with him. I always asked him how he was doing and we had a lot of collaborations. In previous years, we lost many of our loved ones in dubbing, but this year it was more. In fact, this year they left who were in the eye, famous and long-standing people who will never be repeated.

I have no expectations from anyone

The announcer of roles such as “Poirot”, “Zabul Khan”, “Laurel” and “Gulliver”, then in response to what do you expect from dubbing authorities as a veteran of the dubbing field? He states: I have no expectations because it is not a period to expect from anyone; Because now nothing is done in that way in dubbing and nothing is imported to be done. At that time, we mostly dubbed foreign works. In the past, things were more luxurious and problems were less. Now the young people have to say their expectations. I don’t have any expectations from anyone anymore, no one should have any expectations from me. As the famous saying goes, if no one is hostile to us, it is enough, there is no more expectation.

My voice is not pleasant anymore

In a part of his talk about the attractiveness of his voice, this old voice actor also says: My voice is not pleasant anymore. Unfortunately, old age comes with all kinds of diseases. I have been suffering from illness for some time, I have high blood pressure, severe back pain and arthritis; So everything is there. As I said, I don’t talk much anymore. Sometimes I dub old documentaries, historical programs of cities or wildlife, but in general I am not too busy. My son works very little in dubbing because he is not really dubbing. God willing, there will be work for the young people in this field. I used to do better up until five years ago but I don’t really do much anymore. Currently, I have the same animation “Shakrestan”, unfortunately most of its narrators have died now.

“Poirot” was my most famous work

He answered, “Which job do you like the most?” He says: I always liked all my roles because when you don’t like something in dubbing, it doesn’t come out well. About a year or two ago, I spoke in a movie called “Dressmaker”, which I liked very much. I spoke instead of the character of an old man, which I really did not miss, and everyone was amazed. The role of “Poirot” was one of my oldest and most famous works and I loved it very much. Before the revolution, I was present in all the leading roles. The work that was done at that time does not give height to your age; Movies like “Above Danger” and “Star Trek” which were very famous and attractive and really enjoyable dubbing them were enjoyable.

At the end of his talk with ISNA, Akbar Manani reminds: I spoke for more than 70,000 hours in dubbing, which maybe no one has spoken that much. I liked all my jobs, but there were some jobs that I didn’t like, but I really didn’t miss and I did my job well.
