Possibility of eliminating car lottery – Trade News

According to Tejarat News, Mehdi Asgari said about the plan for transparency of the votes of the deputies: “This plan was one of the first plans that was proposed in the parliament and was addressed in the same days of the parliament.”

“People have the right to know what their lawyer is doing and to be able to evaluate his or her performance,” said a member of the parliament’s Industries and Mines Committee, referring to the commitment of most lawmakers to passing the transparency plan.

Askari referred to the collection of signatures regarding the Transparency of Votes plan in the early days of the 11th parliament and said: “This plan was collected in the first days of the parliament and its signatures were collected and referred to the By-Laws Commission.”

He further said: in February of last year, the plan of transparency of votes was presented in public, which unfortunately did not get all the votes. Although the majority of the deputies agree with this plan, the amendment of the internal regulations (parliamentary regulations) requires two thirds of the votes of those present. According to the regulations, 67% of those present in the parliament must vote in favor of the bill, in which 65% voted in favor, which was reduced by three votes to approve the bill.

He referred to the follow-up of some deputies to review the Transparency Plan and said: “With the follow-up and insistence of a significant number of deputies, especially young deputies who insist on the implementation of this plan, the Transparency Bill was referred to the Rules Commission again.” Corrections and additional points were made in it.

Failure to approve the transparency plan of the representatives’ votes

The member of the Industries and Mines Committee of the parliament added: not approving the plan of transparency of the votes of the deputies will be considered a negative point in the performance of the parliament, although if one third of the deputies do not approve this plan, We will do our best not to contribute personally, but to persuade friends who have a critique or point, to approve this plan.

Askari, in response to the host’s question about the points raised by the opponents of the plan, said: “The main part of the objections is about the accumulation of union demands in the country that is requested from the parliament or the government. Prefer to big and general issues.

Regarding the union pressure that some MPs face when opposing a plan or bill that is related to the interests of a particular class, he said: “The argument of some MPs against the transparency plan is that there is social pressure on the plans of union stakeholders.” Are being imposed on delegates, will prevent them from expressing their opinions freely.

The representative of the honorable people of Karaj, Ferdis and Eshtehard pointed to a comment to solve the problem raised by this group of critics of the Transparency Plan and said: Is fixed.

A member of the Parliamentary Committee on Industries and Mines, in response to a point raised by the moderator regarding the fact that the speaker of the parliament should announce the names of the opponents of this plan, said: Let the representative know about this important project. As we did in the previous round with the release of the video from the moment of the voting, we expressed our opinion clearly.

The fate of the car market reorganization plan

Askari said about the plan to organize car imports: Last week, the Industries and Mines Commission had a detailed meeting with the presence of Minister Samat, who asked the parliament for a six-month opportunity to pay special attention to the unhealthy car situation and eliminate the car lottery. It should be produced according to the demand of the car and the import discussion should be done in a controlled way.

A member of the Industries and Mines Commission pointed to the ambiguity expressed by the Guardian Council and the controversy raised by the High Supervisory Council in the Expediency Council regarding the plan, saying: “We are still in favor of approving the plan in Egypt.” The plan emphasizes not only the import debate but also the sectors supporting domestic production. In this plan, imports are discussed in such a way that protection of producers and consumers will be provided simultaneously and protection of production will not overshadow the rights of consumers.
