According to IRNA, the UAE international para-taekwondo competitions for the quota of the Para-Asian Games in two groups of men and women today, Thursday, June 25, with the participation of 46 taekwondo fighters from 14 countries: Iran, UAE, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Thailand, Japan , India, Nepal, Indonesia, Mongolia and Laos were held in Sharjah City Hall.

Roza Ebrahimi Another worthy representative of our country in the weight of 57-kg in the final of this competition went against “Kanika Khonkavi” from Thailand and won with a result of 47 to 14 and stood on the championship platform of this competition.

also Sahar Ghanbari In the 52-kg weight category, Frida Khan Habiblaev defeated the Uzbek representative 19-1 to win Iran’s third gold medal in the competition. Leila Mirazii also won the championship in the weight of +68 kg so that our national parakwando team could win four quotas in the Para-Asian Games.

Sajjad Javanbakht The other Iranian representative in the 70-kg weight class, who was fighting in a higher weight class, initially knocked out “Khatri Katrik” from India with a powerful result of 31 to 1, and then in the semi-finals with a result of 26 to 16. He lost to his Uzbek opponent and settled for the bronze medal of this competition.
